THE AVIATION BALL 2009

Well Jason and I went to the Aviation Ball this weekend. We had the best time. We stayed in the Dragon Hill Lodge over night. The kids went to my friend Dawns for the night. They also had a great time and Dawn said that they were very well behaved. But Jason and I went down to Seoul early in the morning and checked in to the hotel. Then Jason went and got his hair cut and I had my nails done. And while I was getting mine done there was a guy getting his done and I was cool with that until he was done and his friend sat down and got a mani and pedi. OK after seeing that i will never again ask Jason to get a pedi. There was nothing manly whatsoever about seeing that other man get his done. LOL Even his friends were laughing at him. LOL Then after that we went and had a light lunch and then walked around the PX and stuff. There Jason bought me a beautiful neck less. I was suppose to wear for the ball but I forgot it in the hotel. I felt really bed but once the ball was over and we went out on the town I wore it then. At the ball we had our pictures taken and that was nice. They had some nice displays set up and ice sculptures. So we mingled for a couple hours. There was a retired Sergeant Major there and he was recurting for the Officer Core. Jason and I both listened to what he had to say and then Jason told him no that he was going to stay enlisted and there was nothing he could say to change his mind. And for that he gave Jason a coin. LOL It was the first time Jason ever received a coin for turning someone down. He was very proud oh himself and so am I. After the ball we went back to the hotel and changed and then we went out with some of Jason's soldiers and had a good time. We went bar hoping. It was a lot of fun. At about 2am Jason and I called it a night and headed back to the hotel. We got in a taxi that didn't know where the base was and neither did we so he dropped us off at a gate and we ended having to walk 20 minutes back to the hotel and most of it was up hill. But it was a nice night and Jason and I talked and held hands and it was great. I did wake up a little hung over but it was worth it! Oh and at the ball Jason and I won a weekend get away to Jeju Island all expences paid! We dont know when we are going but we are very excited.

A DAY SWIMMING

Well we took the kids to the indoor pool yesterday. We had a great time. Now we all know that Jason is not much of a water person so after 45 minutes he was ready to go. Well the kids were not to say the least, so I made him stay another hour. Jason was able to see just how well the kids can swim and he was very impressed. Now they are wanting to go every weekend. I am not sure how that is going to work but we shale see. We cant wait for the Splish and Splash to open next month. I told Jason that we are getting a family pass to it.

EASTER EGG HUNT 2009

Well today was a beautiful day. We wasn't to hot and no cold in site. We walked to the base for their Easter Egg Hunt. We weren't really expecting much but the kids got a lot. They gave out bags plus the kids received free t-shirts. That was very nice. Then they had about 4 different bouncy houses that they kids could play in and they loved it. They got to see their friends and run around for a bit. During the egg hunt it was all total kayos. But the kids got things that they wanted and they were happy so that is all that matters.

FAMILY GAME NIGHT!!

Well Friday night was family game night for us and we had a blast. It was the first night that we had had together in a month. We played the Memory game, Candy land, Sorry and The Cat In The Hat Game. We had so much fun. For the next 2 nights after that we went to friends house for small parties. So we have been having a very good weekend. Jason and I will be going to a ball on the 17Th and then on the 19Th he leaves for a month. He is going to be in school over in Camp Casey. The kids are out on spring break so we should be having a good time this week.
